Melody Dunn

Biography

Born and raised in Yuma, Arizona, Country Singer Melody Dunn knows what it’s like to be a blister in the sun. As a matter of fact she’s always been a stand out, never being able to escape the attention her natural flair brought her, she was always on the front line challenging success, and she still is.
Melody discovered her great Country Twang while studying classical voice at The University Of Arizona, and it’s no surprise that the first ever country album she bought was Reba McIntire, as a matter of fact she sang along to it constantly and the influence shows in Melody’s voice today.
As a local news anchor for Yuma News and becoming Miss Yuma County, you would think that a woman would be satisfied with the celebritism those roles attracted, but the music stage was persistent and Melody found it hard to go a day without singing, then she met friend and co-writer Ben Thorpe.
Together they began developing a great catalogue of Country tunes and before long melody found herself in Nashville recording her first album.

Her second album “Single Red Rose” has been released along with the video clip to the title track being aired on Country Music Channel and several Australian MTV style shows.
