A New CD
Melody has been working hard on a third CD with International producer Michael Flanders.  This project promises to show a whole new side of Melody.
“To make this project stand out from the rest, it has to be something unique… something the listeners have not heard before.  We feel we can promote Melody as the sophisticated woman she is, using her own words and music to establish a powerful image that the market is hungry for.  We will take Melody’s Country style and add to it a flare of classical jazz that will appeal to an over 30 demographic.  Our goal is for Melody to be recognized along with artists such as Nora Jones, Harry Connick Jr., Allison Kraus and Sheryl Crow.  She will still be very country but she will appeal to a much wider market.”    Michael Flanders
Melody has spent the summer writing with some of Nashville’s top writers including:  Chris Burgness, Tim Mathews and Jerry Carreaga.   She has also penned two songs for the new CD with her producer, Michael Flanders and the very talented Australian guitarist/singer/songwriter, Richie Scholl.
 
She will continue to travel to Nashville to do more writing and plans on recording the new project in Austin, TX this fall.
 Success Down Under
The “Single Red Rose” CD is still going strong in Australia.  Several songs from the album are still being played on high rotation on Australian Country Radio.  And Australia’s Country Music Channel is also still playing the “Single Red Rose” video!
